Family Owned

Since 1973

The Old Country Market started as a roadside fruit stand providing fresh produce to travellers heading to the west coast of Vancouver Island. Over the years it has evolved into a landmark of Coombs, with a mixture of shops and eateries for locals and visitors alike. Oh yeah, and there are goats… on the roof!

When hunger strikes, there are many great options at the Market. “Bee Sting”? “Billy Gruff Bomber”? Our eateries are jam-packed with unique and delicious treats.

There are so many shops under, beside and even behind our world-famous grass roof; chances are you will be able to find what you are looking for.

With three restaurants ranging from fast-casual to table-service, we have options for every finely tuned dining taste.

Travelling to Tofino? Vacationing in Victoria? Wherever you are headed, you will want to stock up with our fresh produce and imported groceries. The locals do!
